Sunday
Benvenuto in Italia!! A private transfer has been arranged, bringing you to our town of Cortona where you'll check in for your six night stay at a renovated palace, Palazzo Passerini*. After settling in, enjoy a glass of wine with us at Enoteca Molesini before sitting down to a classic Tuscan dinner at one of our favorite hidden gems, La Dispensa del Preludio.
Monday
The week continues with a private lunch, demonstrated and prepared by Cortona's rising star chef, Mattia Santiccioli of Al Tocco. Partake in a customized four-course meal, paired with Marco Molesini's selection of exceptional wines. In the evening, we've set up a private wine and olive oil tasting with our team in Enoteca Molesini so you can sip and savor before heading to dinner in town.
Tuesday
Today you'll join Marco for a private winery tour, tasting and lunch. Your group will choose between visiting the Montalcino, Montepulciano, Chianti or Cortona wine region. From there, we'll select one of our favorite wineries and you'll spend the day exploring some of Italy's most stunning vineyards. Afterwards, enjoy the afternoon to explore the streets and piazzas of Cortona at your leisure.
Wednesday
Today is yours for exploring! We are happy to set up a day trip to Siena, where you can shop, sip a spritz in the Piazza del Campo, and explore the stunning Duomo di Siena. Looking for a day of unmatched relaxation and beauty? Then we'll organize an afternoon at the natural thermal baths of Rapolano Terme San Giovanni. Have something else in mind? Say the word and we're here to make it happen.
Thursday
Head to the stunning hilltop town of Montepulciano for a day of food, wine and discovery. Start with a pasta cooking class alongside Chef Giacomo at le Caggiole. You'll learn to create two types of traditional pasta from scratch, along with his grandma's famous Tiramisù. After lunch, you can explore on your own, or we can arrange a wine tasting beneath the city, in the legendary wine caves of Talosa.
Friday
Your group may pick another wine region to visit and this time you'll be joined by our team's wine specialist, Michela Santiccioli. Tour the vineyard before a private lunch and tasting. Upon returning to Cortona, enjoy one last meal together, recounting your favorite memories from the week in Tuscany. We've set up a special send-off dinner at Ristorante Ambrosia where chef Matteo Sciarri will ensure you're well looked after and, in true Italian fashion, well fed.
Saturday
Today you leave us but we hope your travels continue to another beautiful part of our country. We'll offer you our concierge travel services, should you need recommendations or ideas on cities to see, spots to eat, and places to stay. Buon Viaggio!
